Since we are mobile detailers, we’re have done many car interior cleanings and we get questions from customer regularly.
One of the questions that we get asked is: Some people ask how long does it take for the seats to dry?
It depends the method and the process that is taken place to clean the seats. Also a big factor that plays into drying the seats is the weather. If there is a warm day then it will take anywhere from 2 to 3 hours. If the day is cold then it can take 3 to 6 hours to dry.
Process we take for less drying time.
When it comes to cleaning seats, the method that is being used can also effect the drying time of the seats.
When cleaning your seats, you would want to watch the amount of water you are putting in your seats. Why is that?
Seats have a cushion under the fabric of the seats. You would want to use only the water needed to remove the stain on the top surface level.
Using too much water can a greater chance for the stain to wicking back up leaving stains.
The method we use it spray a solution to clean the seat, clean with a brush and then use extraction of the Aqua Pro Vac to take as much water out of the seats as possible.
If you are using too much water and too much solution it can be wet for days and have a greater chance for the dirt to come back up.
